JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Specialist provides support across all areas of the Marketing department, working closely with the Director and Senior Manager to execute initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, engagement and sales support. This role contributes to the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of marketing programs while ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to develop expertise across multiple areas of Business-to-Business marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide general marketing support across all areas of the department, assisting the Director and Senior Manager with the planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of marketing initiatives.
  • Support a variety of marketing programs including lead generation, digital marketing, content development, sales enablement, social media, events, customer communications, and brand awareness efforts.
  • Coordinate marketing projects and activities to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with the creation, editing, and distribution of marketing materials, presentations, emails, customer-facing communications, sales collateral, and other branded assets.
  • Support campaign deployment and execution across multiple marketing channels, including email, web, social media, advertising, and direct marketing.
  • Maintain marketing content, assets, databases, and collateral repositories to ensure materials remain current and accessible.
  • Assist with reporting and tracking of marketing activities, campaign performance, lead generation results, and other departmental key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, agencies, and partners to support ongoing marketing initiatives and business objectives.
  • Support the planning and logistics of events, trade shows, and sponsorship activities.
  • Perform other marketing-related duties and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related business function.
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing initiatives preferred.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, eCommerce, supply chain, or related industries is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, content development, events, or sales support initiatives preferred.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, marketing automation platforms, and digital marketing tools preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including content creation, editing, and customer-facing communications.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns across digital channels, including email, web, social media, and lead generation programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to track campaign performance and interpret marketing data.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and business partners in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Physical demands are mostly consistent with a professional office setting.
  • Regular sitting at workstation for 75-100% of the work shift.
  • Nominal travel (<10%) may be required.
