Job description

About this opportunity: Assist and support the Programming and Sales departments by helping to coordinate and manage prizes, contests, and events. Help to organize and plan station promotions to be the most beneficial and successful for the station, listener and client. Assist with the daily operations of the radio promotions and events department.

What you'll do:

Coordinate events and contesting for our radio stations and help to maintain quality among our 7 radio station properties Targeted, timely and consistent communication with all departments Assist in managing on-air, social media, and station website contests, including updating, creating and revising company contest and events Coordinate and attend client meetings with sellers and sales managers as needed to help plan events and event logistics Maintain the station event calendar and ensure the provision of prizes, promotional materials and event collateral Prepare contest rules, waivers, and release forms for on air, digital, social media and other contests On site set up of remotes, including setting up tents, hanging banners, handing out prizes Responsible for maintaining the prize inventory as well as prize fulfillment processes Perform basic office administrative functions and update station web sites as needed Manage office supplies and organization of the promotion department and programming area Other promotion related tasks such as, but not limited to, picking up promotional items, packing promotional bags, calling winners, filing, data input, making phone calls, and organizing prizes and station merchandise Other duties as assigned What you'll bring: High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work well with all departments and maintain a positive outlook in an often-hectic work environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to problem-solve, multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. Computer literacy in applicable programs including Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Ability to navigate web-based, company-wide software systems Must be 21 years or older and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends and evening events as needed to accomplish business objectives Must possess a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays and special events Must be able to stand for extended periods of time What you'll get in return: You'll get a supportive work environment with co-workers and managers who value your work, your time, and your perspective.

Pay range:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Hours: Approximately 65% in office hours, 35% on site hours - Total of 32 -40 hours per week Benefits: We offer employees and their families medical, dental, vision, prescription, life insurance, and Employee Assistance Program benefits.
