Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Front-End Developer / Application Developer position for our client.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Duration: 4 months

Duties:

  • Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into responsive, functional, and user-friendly web interfaces.

  • Develop and maintain front-end components for web and mobile applications using modern web technologies.

  • Create responsive designs that provide consistent user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, application developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences.

  • Build prototypes and perform hands-on coding of application user interfaces.

  • Implement accessible interfaces and ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.

  • Integrate front-end applications with APIs and back-end services using technologies such as AJAX and JSON.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and user interface issues.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of application interfaces.

  • Use Git for source control and follow established development standards and best practices.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

  • Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as jQuery and Dojo.

  • Familiarity with PHP and application development technologies.

  • Experience working with AJAX, JSON, APIs, and web services.

  • Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and other technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and optimizing front-end applications.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
