Job Summary/Basic Functions

Draft and edit templates and content for emails, newsletters, websites, and social media related to programs and events
Assist with promotion, planning, and on site/virtual support for events such as workshops, information sessions, regional events, and employer and student programs
Assist with event preparation, including setup, breakdown, material organization, and follow-up communication
Update web pages and digital resources under staff guidance to ensure timely, accurate information
Maintain contact lists, communication trackers, and basic event and program data
Provide support for data-related tasks, including organizing spreadsheets and gaining exposure to basic data analysis
Provide general administrative and project support including special projects as assigned by staff
Maintain confidentiality and follow campus and office policies

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
Interest in workforce and/or economic development, human resources, communications, or higher education
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft 365 and AI with a willingness to learn new software and tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable, responsible, punctual, and professional demeanor
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
