Job description

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with Lead Advisor and collaborates with the rest of the engagement team to provide a superior client experience
  • Responsible for all client investment related matters
  • Develop portfolio allocation strategies for client family and related entities
  • Integrate with the Investment Team to maintain a deep understanding of Tolleson Wealth Management portfolio options and investment managers
  • Respond to client directed questions on investment portfolio, capital markets, private equity investments, etc.
  • Monitor performance relative to client goals and ability to communicate over or under performance related to such
  • Draft Investment Policy Statements (private wealth and trust)
  • Create and submit Reallocations and Trades
  • Execute individual stock and options trades strategies
  • Manage portfolio cash levels
  • Present investment updates in client or prospect meetings
  • Prepare a review of outside client portfolios and manage the transition of new clients to the Tolleson investment platform
  • Meet all trading and cash raise deadlines
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Significant progress toward Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred. Other relevant investment industry certifications (CIMA, CFP) and demonstrated experience advising clients and managing investment portfolios may also be considered
  • 5-10 years in investment related position
  • Experience in private wealth and non-profit portfolio management and construction
  • Strong understanding of the financial markets and various asset classes
  • Strong understanding of private markets
  • Strong understanding of tax implications of various types of investments

OTHER ESSENTIAL CANDIDATE TRAITS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and highly responsive to client inquiries
  • Experience in a goals-based approach a plus
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Caissia, Morningstar, eMoney, Tamarac, etc. a plus
  • Must consent to and have favorable consumer report and background check
