Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Regional Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and servicing the fiduciary and investment needs of Seacoast Wealth Management (SCWM) clients. Consistently gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

  • Full-Time
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with SCWM Wealth Advisors, Financial Planners and Trust Officers to determine, develop, and implement investment objectives and goals.
  • Preparation and Management of Asset Allocation plans including the structure of Investment Portfolios.
  • Employ SCWM Investment Philosophy by adhering to policies, procedures and process set by the Investment Committee.
  • Manage investment portfolios according to internally developed strategies and within regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as primary point of contact on investment communications to clients and SCWM personnel.
  • Work closely with Wealth Advisors cultivating new relationships, including the preparation of investment proposals for prospective clients.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements and stay current on market trends, developments. and economic conditions to ensure timely communications to clients.
  • Attend to client specific investment needs, addressing policy and procedural issues.
  • Active Investment Committee member, assisting with research and data requests, and the development of content for external and internal distribution.
  • Works closely with SCWM team to prepare presentation materials for client review meetings, and investment proposals for prospect meetings.
  • Regulatory reporting, including, and coordination among other specialists to include Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors.
  • Provide division level reporting as needed by Wealth Division Leadership team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Adhere to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry, while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations and laws, and Bank policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates technical expertise to consistently explain rationale behind the recommendations.
  • Driven to always learn and improve. Bring a true passion to the business of delivering investment management advice. Highly self-motivated.
  • Lead other tasks and projects as needed for Seacoast Wealth Management.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor Degree required preferably in Finance or related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience including a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing investment portfolios.
  • CFA Society membership preferred.
  • Experience working with Senior and Executive Leadership.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.
