Role Overview
Trajan Wealth is seeking an experienced, client-focused Family Office Fiduciary Advisor to serve as the primary relationship manager for an established book of high-net-worth and retirement-focused clients. This role is designed for a licensed fiduciary professional who is passionate about delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions and developing long-term client relationships.
The Family Office Fiduciary Advisor acts as a trusted partner to clients, providing guidance across investment management, retirement planning, estate planning coordination, tax-efficient strategies, and wealth preservation. Working closely with our internal specialists, you will help clients navigate important financial decisions while identifying opportunities to expand and deepen relationships through our family office platform.
This position is based 100% onsite at our Scottsdale corporate headquarters.
Duties and responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary advisor for an established book of clients, delivering an exceptional fiduciary experience.
  • Conduct virtual, phone, and in-person meetings to strengthen client relationships and address evolving financial needs.
  • Lead ongoing client review meetings and proactive outreach campaigns.
  • Provide education and guidance regarding investment strategies, retirement planning, and wealth preservation.

Financial Planning & Wealth Management
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial planning recommendations.
  • Assist clients with retirement income planning and distribution strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and coordinate inbound transfers.
  • Collaborate with investment management teams to ensure portfolios remain aligned with client goals and objectives.

Family Office Services Coordination
  • Identify estate planning needs and coordinate introductions with estate planning attorneys.
  • Recognize tax-planning opportunities and collaborate with internal tax professionals.
  • Introduce clients to specialized service offerings and subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Facilitate new account establishment, funding, onboarding, and client portal adoption.

Client Experience & Retention
  • Partner with Client Services to ensure seamless account transitions and funding processes.
  • Maintain consistent communication regarding account status, planning initiatives, and service updates.
  • Deliver a proactive, white-glove service experience that enhances client satisfaction, retention, and referrals.

Business Development
  • Discover additional planning opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Identify held-away assets and opportunities to expand advisory relationships.
  • Generate referrals through exceptional service and trusted client relationships.
  • Support firm growth initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Active Series 65 or Series 7 & 66 securities registration.
  • Active Arizona Life & Health/Annuity Insurance License.
  • Clean U4 record.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of financial advisor, wealth management, or investment advisory experience.
  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering financial planning recommendations.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive, client-first mindset.

Preferred
  • CFP®, CFA®, CIMA®, CPA, or other advanced financial designation.
  • Experience serving high-net-worth clients and retirees.
  • Background in comprehensive financial planning, estate planning coordination, and tax-aware wealth strategies.
  • Experience working within a fiduciary or family office environment.
