About the Role:

The Associate Branch Manager will partner with the Branch Manager in oversight of branch operation functions and the Financial Advisors, Associate Financial Advisors and support professionals for the branch. Focuses time on driving branch revenue, recruiting talent, managing risk, continuing to build a book of business, and delivering superior customer service. Exhibits strong business acumen, dedicates time and energy to associates in the branch, serving as a strong coach, encouraging growth and development, and recognizing achievements. Helps associates understand PWM's strategy and connect it to their goals and daily activities. Additionally, this leader will create a culture and office climate in which people want to do their best by inviting input and sharing ownership and visibility.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Partner in local recruiting efforts to include consistent recruit activity by sourcing experienced FA leads, regular follow up in the process and helping close a recruit
  • Engage in coaching FA's including next gen and experienced FA teams
  • Ensure PWM strategic priorities are being met, including partnering with the Wealth Centers to achieve WM metric goals
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability of the branch
  • Office and budget management
  • Associate relations and staffing metrics in partnership with HR
  • Partner in managing compliance and legal issues
  • Local community brand ambassador

What You'll Bring to Baird:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Must hold SIE, Series 7 and 66, 9, 10, Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Insurance Licenses
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to ask probing questions and respond in a manner that is consistent, clear, and candid.
  • Proficiency in dealing with legal and compliance issues. Ability to stand firm on matters of ethics or compliance.
  • Ability to drive for results and is goal oriented.
  • Possesses strong strategic management skills. Ability to articulate a credible picture and vision of possibilities. Can embrace and lead change.
