The Electrical CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining electrical design drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role works closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate, high-quality documentation that supports project execution and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities * Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software. * Create and maintain electrical design documentation, including cable schedules, bills of materials (BOMs), and installation drawings. * Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings. * Revise drawings based on engineering changes, customer feedback, and field modifications. * Analysis and investigation of current designs including CAD, drawings, reports, and test data. * Resolution of findings, generation and incorporation of redlines, and production of a complete and accurate TDP. * Support production and developmental, integration, operational test phases. * Maturation of design in support of successful program delivery. * Integrate with program team executing within the planning, technical, and data product workflows, tooling, and standards. * Ensure all drawings comply with applicable electrical codes, company standards, and customer specifications. * Coordinate with mechanical, controls, and manufacturing teams to resolve design conflicts. * Maintain organized drawing revisions and document control in accordance with company procedures. * Assist in prototype development, testing, and design validation activities. * Support project teams by meeting deadlines and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. * Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
