Job Summary:

Philip J. Boren is looking for a passionate, organized, and driven individual to join our skilled team as an E-Commerce Account Manager. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of managing assigned accounts and delivering results. You will focus on building strong relationships and taking ownership of client inputs to ensure exceptional client experience and sales growth. With a strategic and tactical mindset, you’ll dive into activities like account strategy development, forecasting, pricing strategy and implementation, marketing initiatives, content creation and optimization, catalog management, negotiations, and KPI reporting.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere in the United States.

The E-Commerce Account Manager will be supported by internal resources such as site merchandisers, content creation specialists, marketing specialists, data scientists, and operations specialists.

  • Completely own the P&L statements, business drivers, and inputs for your diverse set of assigned vendor clients, ensuring sales goals are consistently achieved
  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual business plans related to marketing, sales, and inventory management via extensive product and sub-category research
  • Bring forth new business opportunities via the existing client base and cultivate new leads you generate
  • Build solid relationships and facilitate effective, timely communication with clients and retailers to deliver profitable sales growth
  • Lead client meetings and video calls to address business opportunities and manage a sales growth plan
  • Manage day-to-day Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central portal operations
  • Collaborate with Philip J. Boren internal business partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience for both the client and the retailer
  • Continuously innovate to deliver scalable solutions that bring value to Philip J. Boren and our clients
  • Identify and recommend internal process improvements
  • Report account performance as required with clear and organized meeting agendas and business reviews

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple competing priority projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize workload in an ever-changing, ambiguous environment
  • Ability to learn and deep dive into business metrics to drive action
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including advanced Excel skills
  • Desire to test and learn new tools, technologies, and sales strategies
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, mathematics, finance, computer science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of industry experience in E-commerce account management
  • 3+ years of Amazon.com Vendor Central and/or Seller Central experience required
  • Prior experience working with or at Amazon, Walmart.com, or Wayfair is highly preferred
  • In-depth working knowledge of E-commerce online selling portals (Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Walmart.com) required
  • Online marketing or branding experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer for a full day with occasional breaks
  • Sitting and/or standing in front of the computer with a camera on for several hours daily for conference calls
  • Ability to travel to client meetings, conferences, or company events as needed
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $122,600 plus 10% target incentive compensation.

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary incentive bonus as determined by incentive program guidelines, position eligibility and Senior Management approval.
