Job description

Who We Are


The Wave is an organization that focuses on the healing of our clients with Mental Health disorders. As a Residential Treatment Center, we offer women the opportunity to find a place of healing and develop skills and resources to manage issues such as Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and much more. Through our various levels of care, we provide a structured, all-day program that teaches coping and life skills. As a member of our team, you participate in the healing process and play a key role in getting our clients through the program.


What is the Role


As a Nurse for The Wave, you will interact with our clients daily and participate in various aspects of their day-to-day nursing activities while in the program. In your role, you will be responsible for the following:



  • Welcoming new clients to the facility and completing their intake nursing intake

  • Obtaining vital signs and reporting changes in clients' health, mood, and behavior

  • Nursing education groups and documentation

  • Monitoring the clients take their own medications as prescribed by the doctor and controlled medication count

  • De-escalating situations that are not aligned with our client handbook policies

  • Comfortable communicating with management and providers when needed
  • Looking to fill shifts Sat-Sun 3pm-11:30pm


What is Required



  • Experience working with clients in a Mental Health/Healthcare facility is strongly preferred.

  • Valid Nursing License

  • CPR certification

  • Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and Education Verification

  • Ability to download and use company applications such as Microsoft Teams, BambooHR, Relias, etc. on your cellphone

  • Moderate Computer Literacy and ability to use Electronic Health Systems
