To thrive as a Watersports Instructor, you need strong swimming ability, first aid/CPR certification, and expertise in specific watersports activities like kayaking, sailing, or windsurfing. Familiarity with rescue equipment, safety protocols, and often instructor certifications (such as from the American Canoe Association or RYA) are typically required. These skills and qualifications are crucial for ensuring participant safety, delivering high-quality instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment.
