The role demands a keen eye for detail and thorough documentation to verify compliance with project specifications and building codes. Additionally, inspectors must manage tight project timelines while maintaining clear communication with project managers, architects, and field crews to resolve issues promptly.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a waterproofing inspector?

To thrive as a Waterproofing Inspector, you need a solid understanding of construction practices, building codes, and waterproofing systems, often supported by relevant certifications or technical training in building inspection. Familiarity with inspection tools, moisture meters, reporting software, and sometimes certification like ICC or similar is commonly required. These capabilities are crucial for ensuring building safety, compliance, and long-term protection against water damage.
