Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Machine Operator opportunities in Archdale, NC. Responsibilities for a Machine Operator include but are not limited to:

  • CNC & Waterjet Operation: Set up, program, and operate Waterjet and CNC laser cutting machines, including using software to create or modify 2D drawings.

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Utilize a variety of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools to assemble or fabricate orders per Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical drawings.

  • Machine Setup: Set up and run various industrial equipment, including Bridgeport milling machines, brake presses, drill presses, sanders, and saws.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform detailed quality checks and audits at specified points in the operation to maintain high efficiency and precision standards.

Candidates for Machine Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical inclination with the ability to read, interpret, and edit CNC programming and 2D technical drawings.

  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in math and geometry is required to ensure accuracy in fabrication and measuring instrument usage.

  • Physical & Safety Standards: Ability to sit or stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted, and a strict commitment to safety awareness and wearing company uniforms.

  • Experience: Previous experience with fabrication machinery (Waterjet, Laser, or Milling) is highly desired; Salvagnini laser experience is a plus.
