Job Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the service and oversight of installation for Veolia equipment rebuilds at customer facilities. Including thorough inspections of equipment to generate replacement parts lists, maintenance plans, and troubleshooting operational issues.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Routinely perform field service-related activities 

  • Troubleshoot complex issues that regularly occur and find productive solutions 

  • Actively support business development team members

  • Regularly perform equipment inspections and rehabilitation scope of work

  • Effectively maintain and manage field service documentation database

  • Work closely with customers and contractors to ensure proper installation of equipment.  

  • Provide technical oversight to installation contractors for proper installation and start up and commissioning of equipment

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Ability to work remotely, as part of a team and singularly 

  • Work in a cooperative manner with customers and contractors to ensure a good working relationship. 

  • Understanding of Municipal and Industrial water and waste water treatment equipment to include installation and service requirements for Clarifiers, Filters, Biological filters, pressure filters, head works equipment( Climber Screens), Biosolids (HTFB)( Degesters. 2pad), and other 3rd party equipment pumps/ valves/ controls to include 

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Experience: Bachelor degree in technical field, or a minimum of 5 years experience providing service and service oversight for water treatment equipment including pumps, valves, controls as described.
     

Preferred:

  • Controls / Electrical experience 

  • Experience in reading and understand electrical drawings and documentation 

  • Experience in setting up PLC equipment and troubleshooting control logic

Working Conditions 

70-80% Travel 

Works in industrial environments both inside and outdoors
