Job Description

Salary: DOE

The CDL Heavy Haul Driver position is based in Wright, WY, and is specifically focused on fluid hauling operations. An experienced driver with a strong background in transporting liquids such as water, grey or black water, and other fluids used in energy field services will safely load, transport, and deliver various types of fluid to EnerStar client locations. Duties include supporting rig moves, recovering and relocating fluid‑handling equipment, and transferring fluid assets between EnerStar branches within the Well Site Service Division. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in fluid dynamics, equipment handling, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Core Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety in all tasks and comply with company and client safety protocols
  • Champion EnerStar Core Values in all professional activities
  • Communicate with Branch Manager or Supervisor consistently
  • Communicate in a professional manner with EnerStar clients to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Promote quality assurance to EnerStar clients
  • Adhere to safe driving practices
  • Operate water and sewer trucks, winch truck
  • Maintain accurate and legal DOT logbook, including electronic and paper logs
  • Verify all tickets and manifests are signed on location prior to leaving
  • Conduct daily completion of DOT Pre Trip/Post Trip
  • Participate in other relevant tasks as assigned
  • Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to field service calls, assistance with rig moves and setups, chemical toilet services, and other duties as assigned by management team
Travel

The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by EnerStar.

Position Requirements

Experience:

  • 2 years experience required, 5 years experience preferred
  • Belly Dump experience preferred
  • Winch experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High integrity individual
  • Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to work in the field in a non‑CMV position as needed
  • Able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background test
  • Willingness and ability to properly utilize all personal protective equipment as required
  • Must be an active listener, respond in a professional manner
  • Able to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Able to be on call 24/7
  • Able to work nights/weekends and travel overnight if needed
  • Able to run electronic software, including smart phones, computers, metering devices, etc
  • Able to read oilfield maps
  • General handyman skills desired but not required: basic plumbing repairs, flooring installation and repairs, basic electrical repairs, painting
  • Basic vehicle maintenance skills required
  • Able to take direction from supervisors and managers
  • Ability to lift 50‑75 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A conviction of DUI/DWI/OUI, refusing a substance test, charges of reckless driving, hit and run, eluding police, drag racing or driving on a suspended/revoked license will result in disqualification for this position.
  • 2+ at fault auto accidents in the previous 3 years will result in disqualification for this position.
  • Three or more minor driving infractions in the previous 3 years will result in disqualification for this position.
