We are currently seeking a Service Technician/Carpenter for our Empire, OH location.
PURPOSE:
Performs physical tasks in the shop, warehouse, or on a wellsite; expected to have a working understanding of operations in order to effectively communicate with clients, rig up/down equipment, and maintain well-site rental equipment and accommodations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Rigs up and down well site surface rental equipment and accommodations.
  • Coordinate on-site installation of accommodations and equipment.
  • Install semi-permanent water and sewer systems
  • Perform minor electrical work for vacuums, pumps, light plants, generators, and housing
  • Maintains communication with customer and site leader; advises customers on repair/replacement options; acts as a liaison between sales and operations personnel and customers on product and product installation issues.
  • Inspects, rebuilds, operates, tests, and troubleshoots equipment. Monitors, evaluates and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Operates equipment and materials following OEM guidelines as well as standard operating procedures. Completes records and associated documentation. All duties are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.
  • May operate heavy machinery if properly certified.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Less than High School Education
Work Experience: 0-2 years
Supervisory Experience: Not Applicable
Related Experience:
  • Expected to have a working knowledge of carpentry tools and material in order to safely construct, modify, and maintain site structures that support daily operations.
  • Ability to communicate and interpret a variety of oral and written instructions
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
Work Experience: 0-2 years
Supervisory Experience: Not Applicable
Related Experience:
  • Relevant experience as a service technician in the oil and gas industry
  • General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Current relevant HSE certifications
  • Class A CDL
