RIG CLERK
EPS is seeking Experienced Rig Clerks for P amp;A work in the Gulf of Mexico.
PRIMARY PURPOSE amp; FUNCTION:
The Rig Clerk must be capable of setting up and managing clerical operations at the rig without direct supervision or day-to-day guidance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist Company Representative and Safety Officer with new arrival orientations.
• Assist with Company's Safety and Environmental Incident reports as required.
• Complete Company and Regulatory Waste Shipping / Disposal Forms.
• Ensure all Oil/SBM contaminated trash is in proper shipping receptacles.
• Ensure that a MSDS sheet is on file for products.
• Ensure that a MSDS accompanies the shipment of all products.
• Maintain an Environmental / Regulatory compliance checklist and notify Company Representative of any potential non-compliance.
• Perform checks to ensure all drums, pallets, etc. are properly located and marked.
• Maintain a complete, neat and orderly filing system with the following files. Store hard copies or electronically as required by Company.
• Bit Inventory file/with invoices and records.
• Morning Report file.
• Environmental Reports - mud inventory file, mud sample sent in for LC50 analysis, drilling fluids report
• Rental Usage File/with both open and closed Rentals and Delivery tickets.
• Shipping Manifest, Material Transfers, End of Well Inventories.
• Incident Reports, Non-Compliance Reports and State Disposal Forms.
• I.A.D.C. and Rig Overtime File.
• Wellhead and Tubulars delivery tickets
• Trucking / Bill of Lading file
• MSDS File (with a listing of all materials on location).
• Verify the receipt of all incoming materials and cargo against shipping manifest / delivery tickets.
• Maintain an inventory of all equipment Company and rental equipment with delivery and return dates.
• Verify accuracy of invoices and field tickets. Notify vendors of when corrections are required. Notify Rental Companies and advice of any changes in rental usage.
• Be thoroughly familiar with Company's accounting procedures and contacts. Code and process invoices and field tickets. Process and forward any approved purchase invoices, rental tickets, service tickets, etc.
• Prepare Material Transfers and Cargo Manifests for all cargo shipped from the rig. Shipping notice will be detailed with serial numbers. Prepare any Bills of Lading or Non-hazardous Oilfield Waste Shipping Control Tickets needed for any material leaving the rig.
• Verify all cargo listed on the outgoing manifest. • Maintain daily costs records.
• Check to see that inventory of Water, Fuel, Barite and Cement are updated and posted.
• Check any BOP tests for signatures and file in proper folder.
• Answer phone calls in a clear and professional manner. Forward, handle or screen as required.
• Complete, fax and file morning and drilling reports, daily costs sheets, rental sheets, etc.
• Consolidate movement of tools and equipment, when possible, to reduce the overall cost of transporting items to and from the rig location.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
