Job Details
The City of Plano seeks dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team as a Water Pump Station Operator in the Pumping Facilities Department. Our team works 24/7 to keep things running smoothly from our Ridgeview Pump Station (located near Ridgeview Dr. and Custer Rd.).
The ideal candidate will play a key part in operating and monitoring our SCADA system, which helps manage four (4) pump stations, six (6) lift stations, and ten (10) water towers. The ideal candidate will receive and dispatch after-hours service calls for various city departments (except police, fire, and animal services).

Additional Information
The Pumping Facilities Department is smaller and works four (4) days on and three (3) days off.
There are two positions available with one of the following schedules: Wednesday and Thursday 12:00 AM-8:00 AM and Friday and Saturday 12:00 AM-12:00 PM. The second position's schedule is yet to be determined but will include nights and weekends. Overtime is available to cover other shifts.
