Archer Western Constructionis currently seeking a Journeyman WaterPipefitterfor the Water Mountain West/Apache Junction Sewer District WRF Expansion, inApache Junction, Arizona.

The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
• Experience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

Las responsabilidades incluyen pero no se limitan a:

• Ensambla e instala sistemas de tuberias que conducen agua, vapor, aire y otros fluidos, solidos o gases dentro y alrededor de edificios y estructuras
• Instala sistemas de tuberias de vacio, lineas de drenaje y alcantarillado (laterales) desde los edificios hasta el punto de fijacion
• Mueve materiales y equipos para ser utilizados por fontaneros, instaladores de tuberias y instaladores de vaporizador.

CALIFICACIONES

• 3-5 anos de experiencia verificable preferida
• Experiencia trabajando con sistemas de tuberias y accesorios; Conocimiento adecuado de longitudes y medidas de construccion para el uso de herramientas y maquinaria
• Se requiere estar estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos periodos
• debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climaticas
• Requiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las politicas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con companeros de trabajo y supervisores para asegurar que los proyectos se completen adecuadamente
