Job Description
We are seeking a Water Operator Trainee to assist with the operation and maintenance of water production and distribution systems. This is an entry-level, hands-on role with opportunities for training and advancement in the water industry.
Pay: Up to $21.49 per hourKey Responsibilities
  • Assist in operating and maintaining water distribution and production systems
  • Perform minor repairs on pumps, valves, hydrants, and pipelines
  • Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels
  • Support installation and maintenance of water system components
  • Clean and maintain equipment, vehicles, and work areas
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks (lubrication, inspections, groundskeeping)
  • Record meter readings and maintain operational logs
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic mechanical or maintenance experience
