H2O Innovation seeks a Field Service Technician to join our team! The role offers a permanent, full-time home-based position with extensive travel primarily within a regional geography but also covering the USA and possibly Canada. As a valued team member, you will engage in diverse maintenance and assembly tasks on water systems and will have the opportunity to develop new skills. We are seeking individuals who possess mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to details, and forward-thinking abilities.

The Day-to-Day

  • Load and change RO/UF and other membranes;
  • Perform CIP (Clean in place) on water systems;
  • Mechanically install/replace pipes, equipment, instruments and valves for water filtration equipment;
  • Glue PVC pipe and fittings;
  • Measuring, cutting, drilling, tapping for supports or installation;
  • Pull wires, label them, then land to devices;
  • Ensure a good quality product;
  • Support process improvements;
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition;
  • Carry out all other related tasks;
  • LOTO (Lock-Out-Tag-Out) equipment;
  • Fill out field reports.

The Skills We Are Looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience;
  • Ability to read technical plans;
  • Available to travel 75% of the time;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be autonomous;
  • Be organized, rigorous and meticulous;
  • Be an excellent team player;
  • Have a positive and professional attitude towards your team and internal and external clients.
  • Exceptional work ethic with the ability to work without constant supervision
  • Preferable location: OHIO, Western Pennsylvania, Southern Michigan, Indiana
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
  • Travel (vehicle or commercial airline) to customer sites with periodic visits to the USA Service Office in Ramsey, MN and also to various locations for company meetings.
