Job description

Want to earn money & have FUN? York River Kona Ice is looking for a few great people to join our crew! Our season starts in May and runs through August. This is great for college students or anyone looking for additional income. We are hiring for our Water Country location.

Work at a waterpark!

Free park entry to two parks on off days!

Ideal Candidates:

  • Top-notch customer service skills
  • Enjoy working independently with little to no supervision
  • Work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Can problem solve
  • Can communicate effectively with people of all ages
  • Able to lift 25- lbs.
  • Flexible schedule - including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of how a cash register operates.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and respond to team member and guest requests in a loud environment.
  • Greeting and serving customers with consistent positivity & enthusiasm.
  • Taking orders with speed and accuracy
  • Perform basic cleaning of units
  • Accept payments and operate point of sale
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable working on your feet for a 6-8 hour shift
