Job description

Summary:
The Performance Monitoring Engineer keeps business systems stable and fast. You will manage the Tanium endpoint management platform. You will also use tools like SolarWinds or OpenText to watch network and application performance. Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and manage the Tanium agent across all company devices.
Build custom dashboards and alerts for system health and performance.
Troubleshoot slow systems, high CPU usage, and network bottlenecks.
Write scripts to automate routine system checks and fixes.
Patch software and update system baselines. Required Experience:
3 to 5 years of relevant IT operations or systems administration experience.
Hands-on experience with the Tanium platform (Core, Asset, or Patch modules).
Experience with similar monitoring tools like SolarWinds Orion or OpenText Operations Bridge (formerly MicroFocus).
Strong skills in Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Preferred Skills:
Tanium Administrator certification
Knowledge of Azure cloud environments and hybrid monitoring
Experience with ITIL processes for incident and change management
