Job description

Job Summary:
Hyundai AutoEver America is pioneering the future of mobility by integrating cloud-based service infrastructure with advanced core vehicle software technologies. As a Network Engineer III, you will design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing, configuring, and maintaining LAN/WAN/wireless networks, including hardware like routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
• Monitor network performance, resolve connectivity and latency issues, and perform disaster recovery, backups, and restores.
• Collaborate on implementing security measures (firewalls, IDS, access controls), ensure change management compliance, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Support administrators and developers, guide junior team members, and contribute to capacity planning and network expansion.
• Evaluate new networking technologies, maintain inventory and warranty data, and manage voice/data circuits and cabling.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS or Computer Science preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Network security principles
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and tools like Cisco IOS, ACS, WCS, WLC, MARS, and Stealth Watch
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills in fast-paced environments
• CCNP Routing and Switching required
Preferred:
• CCNP Wireless or CCNP Voice preferred
