Employees must enroll within 30 days of hire and benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

First Watch Managers supervise both kitchen operations and the overall dining experience, coaching and developing team members, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learns and supports our You First culture and core values
  • Puts supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run according to plan and with high standards
  • Ensures recipes are followed and food quality is maintained
  • Achieves restaurant sales and traffic goals
  • Coaches staff in First Watch Five Steps of Service
  • Applies the 10 Commitments in day‑to‑day operations
  • Responds promptly to customer and employee concerns
  • Owns and resolves repair and maintenance issues
  • Certified in food safety and coaches staff in safe food handling
  • Recruiting and interviewing new team members
  • Secures company assets, including POS and equipment
  • Understand responsibilities of each position
  • Address inappropriate behavior and investigates as needed
  • Trains, coaches, and develops team members daily
  • Recognizes outstanding performance
  • Accounts for daily revenues and deposits
  • Completes administrative duties and submits required paperwork on time
