Job description

About the Role
As a Waste Leveler, you'll help keep apartment communities clean and prevent dumpster overflow before the hauler arrives. This fast-paced, physical role includes driving daily routes, redistributing trash to maximize dumpster space, and maintaining clean, organized waste areas. We're looking for dependable team members who work efficiently, stay motivated independently, and take pride in visible results.
Schedule & Pay:
  • Full Time
  • Monday - Friday
  • Start time: 2:00AM
  • Overtime may be required
  • Pay $20-$24/ hr. (depending on experience)

Waste Leveler Driver Responsibilities:
  • Drive a company truck and trailer to service properties along an assigned daily route.
  • Check in, photograph, and document property conditions using our mobile app.
  • Sweep and maintain clean dumpster and compactor areas.
  • Break down boxes and help enforce proper recycling practices on-site.
  • Redistribute trash between dumpsters to prevent overflow and maximize space.
  • Complete routes efficiently before the waste hauler's scheduled arrival.
  • Communicate property concerns, access issues, or service exceptions to management promptly.
  • Report equipment issues, accidents, or incidents immediately.

Waste Leveler Driver Requirements:
  • Valid non-CDL driver's license with at least 2 consecutive years of licensed driving.
  • Clean driving record - verified after offer
  • Ability to frequently lift 50-80 lbs and push/maneuver equipment over 500 lbs.
  • Comfortable stepping in and out of vehicle and waste containers safely using a ladder.
  • Ability to work independently and stay on pace through a full shift.

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience in waste management, facilities, landscaping, or a similar outdoor labor role.
  • Familiarity with recycling guidelines and proper waste handling practices.
  • Customer-facing experience in a service environment.
