About the Role:
Trash Gremlin Disposal is looking for a hardworking and reliable Residential Trash Pickup Technician to join our team in San Antonio, TX and lakehills tx! This is a great opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and make a real difference in keeping our communities clean. If you take pride in a job well done and love serving your neighbors, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and remove residential trash, recycling, and waste from curbside and designated pickup locations
  • Operate and ride along on waste collection vehicles along assigned routes
  • Safely lift, carry, and empty trash bins and containers into collection trucks
  • Maintain cleanliness and order along pickup routes, ensuring no debris is left behind
  • Follow all safety protocols and DOT regulations during waste collection operations
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and team members to complete routes efficiently
  • Report any service issues, missed pickups, or equipment concerns to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50+ lbs repeatedly
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule including early morning starts
  • Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude
  • Valid driver's license preferred; CDL a plus
  • Prior waste management, labor, or sanitation experience is a bonus but not required
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening
