CEC is growing our operations, and we have an excellent opportunity to hire an Engineering Project Manager to contribute to our Waste Management Practice in our Irvine, CA office. As an Engineering Project Manager with CEC, you'll be involved in the design, analysis, permitting, and preparation of drawings and technical specifications for solid waste engineering projects. You will assist in expanding the practice in market sectors that include traditional Solid Waste and Industrial Waste. You will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing client relationships, as well as managing projects, mentoring junior staff, making hiring recommendations, and providing direction on a variety of projects for private and public sector clients.

The pay range for this position is between $100,000-150,000+ based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).

Qualifications
    6+ years' experience in the Solid Waste industry including engineering design, operations and management
  • Demonstrated business development and client management experience required
  • Strong professional relationships with clients in applicable market sector(s)
  • B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (M.S. a plus)
  • California Professional Engineering (P.E.) Licensure
  • Civil 3D experience
  • Sound understanding of business principles of consulting projects and related project delivery tools
