About the Role:

Compost Connection in Grandview, MO is looking for a motivated Helper/Thrower to join our yard waste team! This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you'll play a key part in keeping our community clean and green. If you love physical work and making a difference in your neighborhood, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:
·         Assist with the collection and loading of yard waste materials including leaves, branches, and grass clippings
·         Throw and haul yard debris onto collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
·         Work alongside drivers to complete daily residential and commercial routes
·         Follow all safety protocols when lifting, throwing, and handling yard waste
·         Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the truck and at job sites
·         Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure timely route completion
·         Time in BEFORE 6:15am. No set time off. The day is done when all routes are complete.
·         Overtime in the busy seasons. We work year-round.
 
Requirements:
·         Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor in all weather conditions
·         Reliable, punctual, and able to report for early morning shifts
·         Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude
·         Previous experience in waste collection, landscaping, or labor is a plus
·         Ability to keep up with a fast-paced, physically demanding route schedule
·         Must be able to stand, walk, and throw debris for extended periods throughout the shift
**You must be able to work well with others, as well as listen to/take direction from supervisors, manager's and drivers.
