Job description

Holtzman Vogel is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to work in its Nashville office. The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in Nashville and throughout the firmโ€™s eight offices in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, assisting attorneys with administrative tasks, calendar scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. This position is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

  • Legal research
  • Assist with case management
  • E-Discovery
  • Deposition and trial preparation
  • Organize and electronically file pleadings
  • Coordinate and schedule calendars
  • Assist attorneys with administrative matters

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience as a litigation paralegal at a law firm highly preferred
  • Paralegal certification or relevant educational background in legal studies is a plus
  • Proficiency in legal document preparation and document review
  • Experience with legal research, pleadings, and motions
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in legal software (including eDiscovery platforms) and general office technology
