Now Hiring: Transport Equipment Technician

Pipestone, MN | PIPESTONE

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with equipment, engines, and trailers? PIPESTONE is looking for a Transport Equipment Technician to help keep our fleet and wash systems running at peak performance!

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our team, you’ll help ensure our livestock trailers, shag trucks, and wash systems are operating safely and efficiently.

  • Diagnose & repair livestock trailers (tires, lights, electrical, air brakes, aluminum welding)
  • Maintain and repair pressure washing systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems (AC/DC), small engines, and burner systems (natural gas/propane)
  • Perform preventative maintenance and document repairs
  • Support biosecurity and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with logistics and wash teams on repairs and planning
  • Keep shop space clean, organized, and efficient

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Federal & MN Vehicle Inspection Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
  • Class A CDL preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Eligible to drive a company vehicle

Work Environment:

  • Primarily indoor shop work with some outdoor tasks
  • Active role requiring lifting, bending, and standing throughout the day

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $60,000 – $80,000/year (based on experience)
