At Wasatch Property Management, our Maintenance Team Leads play a crucial role in each community's success. They are the leaders in facilities management, bringing technical expertise to every aspect of our apartment communities and providing guidance and training to the maintenance team. From HVAC systems to plumbing repairs and even fresh coats of paint, Maintenance Managers are involved in every apartment, ensuring resident satisfaction.
What you'll do:
  • Oversee the team of Maintenance Team Members
  • Schedule and complete turns.
  • Responsible for completing occupied apartment service requests in less than 3 hours.
  • Manages the inventory of "ready" apartments to support the community's marketing and leasing efforts and inspects ready apartments for move-in quality.
  • Spearheading maintenance initiatives.
  • Consistently exemplifying the Wasatch brand.
  • Embodying an owner's mindset.
  • Provide your team members with the necessary resources and support to thrive and succeed, fostering a positive work environment.

What we're looking for:
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on general maintenance experience.
  • EPA Certified with 3-5 years related experience a plus.
  • Skill in planning, delegating, and coordinating the work of others.
  • Analytical problem solver, developing alternatives and implementing effective strategies.
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
  • Experience in repairing and or maintaining at least most of the following:
    • Electrical Systems
    • Plumbing
    • Appliances
    • Flooring
    • Carpentry
    • Heating and air systems
    • Pools
  • Ability to lead staff and build a team atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
  • A creative and motivating personality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies

Benefits and Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $20.05 - 27.13 USD per hour depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus potential!
Candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
