The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs.

We’re hiring a Purchasing Supervisor to Live. Work. Explore. in Death Valley National Park!

Job Summary:
The Purchasing Supervisor supports daily purchasing operations for The Oasis at Death Valley by coordinating ordering, receiving, and inventory processes to keep the business running smoothly. This  leadership role helps supervise and train purchasing staff, maintain accurate records, and build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams. Ideal for candidates looking to grow in supply chain, procurement, or hospitality operations while gaining hands-on experience in warehouse and purchasing functions.

The Details:

Position Type: Full-time Year-round

Start Dates: As soon as possible on next available check in date (approximately three weeks)

Pay: $23.60/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
  • Maintain an organized flow of ordering, receiving and general office functions.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Director with overseeing the efficient and effective use and maintenance of the Supply Chain system.
  • Responsible for managing, supervising, timekeeping and training purchasing staff.
  • Responsible for maintaining orderly, complete, and up-to-date records and files.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and property departments.
  • Ensure adherence to company-wide purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Process all purchasing, receiving, and transferring documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled inventories of the warehouse.
  • Assist with all warehouse duties when needed; shipping, receiving, stocking, deliveries, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Two (2) year purchasing, logistics/distribution and warehouse operations experience.
  • Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Office applications (strong Excel experience) and experience with, or the ability to learn, the Supply Chain purchasing/inventory system.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Prefer knowledge of Cloud Suite.
Qualifications:
