We are seeking a strategic and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our distribution center. In this pivotal role, you'll be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the efficient management and storage of goods, managing warehouse staff, and optimizing logistical processes to maintain smooth and effective operations. Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Implement warehouse safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory bodies
  • Manage inventory control procedures to minimize loss and maximize accuracy
  • Coordinate receiving, warehousing, and distribution services
  • Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts
  • Supervise and evaluate warehouse staff performance, ensuring proper training and development
  • Establish operational policies and procedures, and enforce adherence to them
  • Monitor and manage warehouse equipment and vehicles, scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Analyse data and prepare reports on warehouse performance and progress
  • Collaborate with other department managers to integrate logistics with company processes
  • Investigate any discrepancies or issues with inventory or warehousing and implement corrective measures
  • Control warehouse budget to ensure resource optimization
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies as needed
