A growing manufacturer within the specialty chemicals industry is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and inventory management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will lead a team of approximately six employees and play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient movement of materials throughout the operation.This is an excellent opportunity for a strong warehouse and logistics leader who thrives in regulated environments and understands the complexities of hazardous materials handling, shipping documentation, and operational execution.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations for inbound and outbound materialsSupervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately six warehouse personnelCoordinate shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activitiesEnsure accuracy and compliance of Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping paperwork, and inventory documentationOversee hazardous materials storage, labeling, handling, and transportation in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and other applicable regulationsPartner closely with operations, customer service, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth logistics flowManage freight scheduling, carrier relationships, and shipment coordinationMaintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and warehouse organization initiativesDrive continuous improvement efforts related to warehouse efficiency, safety, and cost controlEnsure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirementsMonitor KPIs related to shipping accuracy, inventory performance, and warehouse productivityQualifications5+ years of warehouse and/or logistics leadership experience within manufacturing, chemicals, flavors, ingredients, food, or related industriesPrior experience supervising warehouse personnel in a hands-on operational environmentStrong understanding of Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping documentation, and freight coordinationExperience handling and shipping hazardous materials requiredKnowledge of DOT, OSHA, and hazmat compliance regulationsInventory management and warehouse systems experience preferredStrong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environmentForklift certification or experience preferredPreferred BackgroundSpecialty chemicals, flavors, ingredients, food manufacturing, or industrial manufacturing experience strongly preferredExperience working within regulated manufacturing or distribution environmentsERP/WMS system experience is a plus
