Position Overview

The Warehouse Clerk supports warehouse operations by managing administrative and clerical tasks. This role ensures accurate documentation of shipments, maintains organized records, and provides effective communication between drivers, leads, and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Communicate with Leads/Supervisors when drivers arrive or depart.
  • Check in and check out drivers for all inbound and outbound transactions.
  • Create and manage shipment documentation required to receive and ship loads.
  • Ensure all shipment documents are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.
  • Handle email correspondence related to inbound and outbound loads.
  • Operate office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and scanners.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices as needed.
  • Support general office management and organizational procedures.
  • Create and update spreadsheets, word documents, and shipment records.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • Perform inventory-related clerical duties as required.
  • Assist with data entry and reporting for warehouse metrics.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or logistics is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or clerical role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
  • Benefits: Available after 90 days, including health, dental, vision, and ancillary coverage
