Job description

The Warehouse Processor plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and organized handling of furniture and merchandise in a small team environment. This position involves loading and unloading trucks, assembling and cleaning furniture, packaging and pricing products, and assisting with floor moves. The role requires strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach while working primarily on day shifts and reporting to the General Manager or Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading and unloading weekly trucks
  • Load customer furniture purchases safely and efficiently
  • Assemble boxed furniture accurately
  • Clean upholstered furniture and maintain merchandise appearance
  • Test, package, and price general merchandise
  • Support furniture floor moves as directed by management
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstation and warehouse
  • Engage positively with customers and assist as needed
  • Conduct web-based research for related tasks
  • Perform general maintenance and safety compliance tasks
