Job description

General Warehouse Laborer

Primary Staffing is hiring dependable and hardworking General Warehouse Laborers to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This position involves a variety of warehouse duties based on daily operational needs and supervisor instructions, including loading and unloading, sorting freight, palletizing, labeling, wrapping materials, and maintaining organized warehouse areas. This is a physically active position, and some assignments, particularly container unloading, may require sustained and physically demanding manual work. As operations continue to expand, employees may temporarily be scheduled at both the Bolingbrook and Joliet facilities based on business needs. Reliable transportation between both locations is required.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trailers and containers.
  • Sort, separate, and organize freight.
  • Palletize products and rebuild pallets as needed.
  • Label and relabel cartons and pallets.
  • Wrap and prepare freight for warehouse operations.
  • Clean and organize warehouse work areas.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
  • Perform physically demanding container unloading as assigned.
  • Follow supervisor instructions and daily work priorities.
  • Support additional warehouse projects as needed.
Requirements
  • English proficiency required.
  • Comfortable performing physical warehouse work.
  • Able to perform sustained manual work, including container unloading.
  • Able to load, unload, sort, label, and organize freight.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Able to follow supervisor instructions and changing daily priorities.
