GET PAID TO KEEP FREIGHT MOVING
Capstone Logistics is looking for Warehouse Unloaders to join our Iowa City team. If you prefer hands-on work over sitting behind a desk, enjoy staying active, and take pride in getting the job done right, this opportunity could be a great fit.
You'll work overnight unloading incoming freight and preparing product for the warehouse operation. The pace is steady, the work is physical, and your productivity can directly impact your earnings.
WHAT YOUR SHIFT LOOKS LIKE
You'll help unload and organize freight as it arrives at the facility. Depending on the needs of the operation, your day-to-day work may include:
• Removing cases and products from trailers
• Moving freight from the receiving area to designated locations
• Sorting product by type, destination, or other site requirements
• Building stable pallets for storage or movement
• Wrapping and securing completed pallets
• Checking freight for accuracy or visible damage
• Moving materials safely through the warehouse
• Keeping the receiving area clean and organized
• Working with your team to complete the workload safely and efficiently
• Following site-specific procedures and all safety requirements
THIS IS A PHYSICAL JOB
This position is a good match for someone who likes to stay moving. You'll spend most of your shift standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling freight.
• Regularly lift and carry approximately 25-75 lbs
• Work at a steady pace throughout the shift
• Perform repetitive lifting and material handling
• Work safely around other employees, equipment, pallets, and freight
