Job description

Warehouse Associate/Distribution Operator

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM (40 hrs/week)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Warehouse/Distribution Operator to support daily warehouse operations, order processing, and material handling within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work safely in accordance with OSHA, FDA, and DEA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform order fulfillment activities including picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Receive and put away raw materials and finished goods.
  • Unload inbound trucks, verify received quantities, and enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Pick and pack customer orders using computerized systems.
  • Perform routine warehouse functions such as cycle counting, inventory accuracy checks, and material disposal processing.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area daily.
  • Comply with all established safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, DEA).
  • Operate warehouse equipment and machinery as required (non-CDL powered industrial equipment).
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–7 years warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience.
  • Experience with WMS systems, scanning, or computerized order processing.
  • Ability to lift 25–49 lbs, stand, walk, and squat for extended periods (2+ hours).
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, teamwork, and sense of urgency.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
