Job Summary

The Warehouse Specialist serves as the primary touchpoint for new and existing inventory and leads other warehouse personnel in regular tasks associated with inventory and warehouse management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads warehouse personnel who receive, stock, rotate, and pull product
  • Utilizes technology to ensure the inventory process is modernized to maximize equipment and material margins, inventory availability and workflow
  • Ensures that all work is performed in compliance with safety practices
  • Receives and documents daily shipments in a timely manner 
  • Conducts weekly cycle counts and reconciles to the service management system to address discrepancies
  • Provides daily reports on inventory on hand, usage, and shortages
  • Monitors workflow and ensures proper inventories are pulled for daily routes 
  • Maintains warehouse systems to reflect accurate and up-to-the-minute levels of product, inventory levels, and accurate product master setup 
  • Timely communicates with stakeholders regarding voids, delays, or other product changes that may affect availability/delivery; discusses alternate product solutions when necessary to meet demand 
  • Works with department managers to ensure warranty items are processed in a timely manner
  • Proactively communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment 
  • Maintains the warehouse’s workflow to ensure general cleanliness, organization, layout and design in a way that will ensure maximum space utilization

Requirements

  • Experience with inventory software
  • Communication skills including verbal, written, and the ability to connect with a wide range of people and behavior styles

  • Must be physically able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods of time
