Join Our Team as a Warehouse Storage Lead at Epiroc!

As a Warehouse Storage Lead, your primary responsibility is to assist warehouse personnel in fulfilling assignments as directed by the department Supervisor. Your role entails being a skilled and knowledgeable resource who can complement the supervisor's instructions by offering detailed guidance to other hourly warehouse staff. All tasks must be carried out in accordance with company safety guidelines.

Work Type: Onsite

 

Shift Timings: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily warehouse workload
  • Check availability of parts, components, and materials (i.e. use M3 & Extend to confirm allocations, locations, and part disposition)
  • Follow-up on receiving / stocking discrepancies
  • Make all required corrections/modifications according to MO/CO/DO
  • Assist in assigning duties
  • Communicate properly with internal departments.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse area
  • Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations/guidelines
  • Maintain work-related records and reports (i.e. quality defects, unplanned material requisition)
  • Ensure the availability of all Storage supplies
  • Perform other duties as required or directed
  • Ensure all warehouse functions follow written procedures Occasional, Infrequent
  • Train new hires
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts
  • Return leftover parts back to Warehouse

Knowledge/Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years' experience in warehouse or distribution center role managing storage parts, components, and materials
  • 6 months experience in mentoring and training other team members in a warehouse environment

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work tasks and follow through on outstanding tasks
  • Required to read, write and comprehend English
  • Ability to follow through on work orders using fundamental knowledge of assembly techniques and applications
  • Overall knowledge of product line.
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles
  • Knowledge of M3 & Extend transactions that directly affect their work area

The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.
