Job description

Warehouse Stocker

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Warehouse Associate and Stocker who embodies our core values of Integrity, a sense of Urgency, and Reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. This position is Monday - Friday.

Essential Functions

  • Provide outstanding customer service to customers in a positive and professional manner.
  • Pick and verify orders for customers and inter-office transfers. Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
  • Pack orders neatly and efficiently for shipping.
  • Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
  • Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately.
  • Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times.
  • Assist management with inventory counts and provide daily upkeep of the Warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable workplace; conducts basic maintenance and cleaning of warehouse, equipment, restrooms, break room, and outside grounds.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organization and time management skills and able to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to maintain efficient warehouse / inventory and shipping processes.
  • Develops and maintains department processes and procedures.
  • Superior teamwork skills.
  • Knowledgeable in the use and management of warehouse inventory system and email.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exhibits an awareness and concern for safety.
  • Ability to operate forklift.

Experience and/or Education:

  • Certified in forklift operation
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs without assistance.
  • Regular physical activity, including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
  • Frequent reaching overhead and below the waist.
  • Comfortable standing on concrete or metal surfaces for long periods.

Additional Requirements

  • Clean driving record acceptable to the companys insurance provider.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

  • Wear a clean company-issued uniform; maintain professional hygiene and grooming as outlined in the employee handbook.
