Job description

Sidekick Delivery is a last-mile delivery service for Wine & Spirits in upstate NY. This position supports the sorting, verifying, palletizing and loading of product for routes for the next day.

Essential Duties for this position:

· Ensure the appropriate use of safety devices and equipment, general housekeeping, and maintain a constant vigilance for hazardous conditions and practices.

· Operate the automated sortation system and process.

· Maintain the system so that it is ergonomic and organized.

· Ensure accuracy of orders and load management.

· Be able to repetitively lift cases up to 75 pounds, using proper safety precautions.

· Be able to pay close attention to detailed labeling and routing schedules.

· Ability to operate electric hand jack and forklift.

· Attention to detail, and adaptability to fast paced work environment.

· Ability to adjust to changing environments and volumes at a moment’s notice.

· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately while working in a loud environment with machine noise.

· Showing up for shift at scheduled start time.

 Schedule:

· Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8pm to 6:30am (full shift)

Job Requirements:

· High school education preferred

· 2 years warehouse experience preferred
