Shipping Associate (Warehouse)

Location: Ashland, VA

Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift

Pay: $18-20/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Shipping / Receiving Associates to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This role is responsible for preparing and loading outbound shipments, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload outbound shipments, operate sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack , build and wrap pallets, pull and pack orders, stage orders for shipment, verify order accuracy, maintain clean and organized shipping area, follow all safety procedures

Skills Required

Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jack (EPJ), ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work, reliable attendance and strong work ethic, ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for the entire shift

  • Frequent lifting, bending, and carrying materials

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team lift for heavier items)
