Job description

1st shift Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Pay rate DOE
M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm

This is a Direct hire opportunity!!
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of shipping and receiving, and keeping accurate records. On the shipping side, they package items, print labels, weigh packages and determine appropriate postage

Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:
  • Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments from and to the warehouse.
  • Prepare shipments with the correct mailing labels and ensure that all orders and withdrawal requests from the warehouse are correctly fulfilled.
  • Consolidate shipping orders.
  • Ensure that the goods delivered to the warehouse are in accordance with approved orders and the associated bill of lading or invoice.
  • Perform the unpacking of consolidated shipment deliveries and distribute contents to the right

Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk Qualifications:
  • High school or GED
  • Forklift experience within the last 6 months
  • Experience scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
  • Experience pulling, packing, and loading.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
