Katz Coffee is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Warehouse Associate to help keep our warehouse running smoothly and our customers supplied with exceptional coffee.
As a Warehouse Associate, you'll work closely with our procurement manager and production team to handle inbound deliveries and outbound shipments before climbing onto a forklift to unload trucks, stage customer orders, replenish inventory, and prepare products for production or shipping. Throughout the day, you'll receive incoming products, verify paperwork, organize inventory, complete cycle counts, and ensure every item is stored accurately and safely.
You'll also ensure products are received correctly, inventory remains accurate, and customer orders are shipped complete and on time. Whether you're unloading a truck, counting inventory, preparing shipping paperwork, or loading the final pallet for the day, your attention to detail keeps our operation moving.

ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect incoming products for damage or discrepancies and communicate issues promptly.
  • Organize inventory in designated warehouse locations while maintaining FIFO inventory rotation.
  • Stage products for production, customer orders, and warehouse transfers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Material Handling
  • Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently while preventing product damage.
  • Transport inventory throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Inventory Control
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Complete inventory transactions accurately within the company's ERP or warehouse management system.
  • Help ensure inventory accuracy through proper storage and organization.
Shipping & Receiving
  • Prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify outbound orders prior to loading.
  • Complete bills of lading, packing slips, shipping paperwork, and receiving documentation.
  • Log all outbound shipments accurately.
  • Coordinate with carriers and delivery drivers during pickups and deliveries.

QualificationsWarehouse Experience: Minimum of two years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience preferred.
Equipment Experience: Experience safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks is required. Forklift certification is preferred or must be obtained after hire.
Inventory Knowledge: Experience receiving product, organizing warehouse inventory, performing cycle counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Documentation: Comfortable completing shipping paperwork, receiving documents, bills of lading, and inventory records accurately.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with experience entering inventory or shipping information into warehouse or ERP systems.
Organization: Ability to prioritize work, maintain an organized warehouse, and manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the shift.
Team Player: Positive attitude, dependable attendance, strong communication skills, and a willingness to support teammates whenever needed.
