General Beverage Sales Co. (GB) is a business-to-business wholesale distributor of wine, distilled spirits, beer, soda, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages. Established in 1933, GB has been family-owned ever since. We currently operate in all of Wisconsin's 72 counties as consultants to over 11,000 licensed retail business customers helping them to profitably select, promote, merchandise, and sell consumer products in the beverage category. Job Description: This position requires loading trucks with required products safely, accurately, and efficiently and includes the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts.


Qualifications: 

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Must be able to lift from 5 to 150 lbs. multiple times per shift.

Must be able to crawl, reach, twist, and bend.

Effective communication skills. 

Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions.

Ability to certify in the use of forklifts and operate forklifts in accordance with OSHA safety regulations and company policy.

Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with Class A CDL certification preferred.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen and lift test. 

Requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

Adheres to supplier and company quality and freshness standards in inventory and loading practices.

Promptly prepares all required reports.

Operates company equipment safely and according to company guidelines.

Loads and unloads route delivery trucks.

Check route trucks in and out.

Reports for work on time and appropriately dressed.

Receiving and shipping of products, equipment, merchandise, and supplies.

Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide at a high school equivalency level.

Files breakage reports in a timely and efficient manner.


Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
