Shift: Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates who enjoy a fast-paced warehouse environment and have strong computer and organizational skills. Job Overview for Shipping/Receiving Clerks
As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving, documenting, packing, and shipping materials accurately and on time. You will use a computer, ERP system, and shipping software to process incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain inventory records, and ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate. Prior ERP experience is preferred, but candidates with strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities of Shipping/Receiving Clerks
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and document incoming shipments.
  • Enter receipts, inventory updates, and discrepancies into the ERP system.
  • Generate packing slips, shipping labels, and shipment documentation using shipping software.
  • Pick, pack, label, and stage outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements.
  • Verify that shipping paperwork, ERP records, and shipment contents match before release.
  • Coordinate pickups with parcel and freight carriers.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe shipping, receiving, and inventory areas.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Process RMA returns and communicate shipping issues or delays as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications of Shipping/Receiving Clerks
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn ERP and shipping software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
  • Ability to read packing lists, bills of lading, purchase orders, shipping labels, and related documents.
  • Ability to securely pack products using appropriate materials and documentation.
  • Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts is preferred.
  • One to three years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and ERP systems is a plus.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Shipping/Receiving Clerks
  • Normal indoor manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Regular standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequent handling of products, packing materials, and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, and kneeling to access inventory.
